Registrations will close on Sunday, November 6th, 2022 (23:59 CET). Early bird discount of 10% for registrations validated and confirmed with payment by Friday, June 30th (23:59 CET). Final registration deadline is Friday, November 4th (23.59CET). Special refund policy for Graduates, see below. Only registrations with validated payments by the deadline will be processed. This includes registration(s) for guests.

It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that s/he has accommodation for the duration of her/his stay in Egypt. AUC suggests a selection of hotels within reach of the different venues, however each participant is responsible for making his/her own accommodation reservations and to follow the payment and cancellation guidelines of their hotel of choice. See below transportation in Cairo.

To facilitate your visit in Cairo and to the major events, transportation is included in your participation fee to/from the selected hotels/university to the different venues of the events. Please bear in mind that in other areas/hotels you will have to organize your own transportation and schedules. The host, AUC will not be responsible for any transport Issues If participants decide not to avail of the organised transportation.

Some participants may need a Visa to enter Egypt. Please sure that you make the necessary enquiries and contact AUC in plenty of time if you need an invitation. VISAs can be bought on arrival at the Cairo airport for 25€ cash payment.

It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that s/he has made appropriate travel arrangements for her/his trip to the CEMS Annual Events. CEMS cannot be held accountable or liable for any issues related to travel.

Payments can be made:

1. Via stripe using the registration platform by Credit Card – Visa or MasterCard

All prices are quoted in Euros. Payment in any other currency will not be accepted.

Bank charges, if any, are at the charge of the participant. If payment source is not reference adequately, we have problems identifying the payer, this is why it is IMPERATIVE that you clearly state your NAME as well as the reference “CEMS Annual Events 2022” on your Bank Transfer Form.

If payment is made for more than one person or by a company, please make sure all the names of individual participants are indicated. Full information on banking references can be consulted on the online payment system.

Participants are asked to send the bank remittance receipt to annualevents@cems.org.

Cancellations must be confirmed in writing by email to annualevents@cems.org Minus a handling fee of 15€

After this date, no refund is possible. In case of no-show, no refund is possible.

All authorized refunds will be made by the CEMS Global Office following the CEMS Annual Events. If payment is made with Visa/MasterCard, refund will be made directly to the card used at payment. Alternatively, via bank transfer, full personal and bank account details (address, swift code, IBAN number, etc.) must be sent by email to annualevents@cems.org

-You can cancel free of charge and receive FULL refund of the registration fees up to 9 September 2022 .

Graduands 2022(only) with proof that he/she will not graduate can receive 100% refund up to October 31st.

· You can cancel and receive 50% refund of the registration fees up to10 October 2022

· If cancelled after the 10th of October, we reserve the right not refund any amount

Should the organisation be obliged to cancel the CEMS event due to force of circumstances, the CEMS Global Office together with the American University of Cairo reserves the right to not (entirely) refund participation fees.

It is encouraged to take out a travel insurance.
